Solid Construction and High-Quality Materials
The electric PKM machine gun replica is solidly built from a combination ofĀ metal elements and steel. Parts such as the adjustable gas block, bipod mount, barrel handle, bolt cover, body, magazine catch, and stock butt are made of steel. Elements like the muzzle device, front sight, outer barrel, gas block, gas tube, locking block, barrel assembly, trigger assembly, ammo feeder, charging handle, and safety are made of high-quality metal. The pistol grip, stock, and handguard are made of durable nylon fibre polymer.
Reinforced Gearbox and Modern Technical Solutions
The heart of the gun is the reinforced metal gearbox, ensuring reliable performance during long and continuous bursts of fire. The electrical system is equipped with aĀ MOSFET withĀ adjustable ROFĀ and wired to Deans. The gearbox features aĀ quick spring change system, making spring replacement easy. Inside, there is a complete set of reinforced gears with a 18:1 ratio, mounted on 8 mm ball bearings. The spring and cylinder head are made of aluminum using CNC machining, and the cylinder head is double-sealed with thick sorbothane, while the piston head has a ball bearing. A&K pays special attention to replica modifications, including installing a new microswitch, which provides faster and more precise trigger response. Additionally, great emphasis was placed on the hop-up system, which is equipped with a harder rubber and a special omega standard spacer, significantly increasing the range and accuracy of shots.
